Unbelievably, it has been a whole TEN YEARS since we published our first Tank Girl Poster Magazine. To celebrate we’re bringing you this grab bag of tasty treats featuring Tank Girl and friends!
An A5 (210 x 148mm) sized (folded) magazine that folds out into a massive A2 (594 x 420mm) poster, displaying the raw artwork for Greg Staples fabulous “Action Alley” comic series cover, featuring our hero lighting up her smoke from a Molotov Cocktail.
The interior of the poster magazine also includes Bond & Martin’s rogue one-pager “I Am Beatnik” blown up to unwarranted proportions, along with two pages of Hewll artwork from the Hewlett & Martin Tank Girl story “Blue Helmet”
Also included are an oversized 20cm x 20cm screen-printed back-patch of a classic Jamie Hewlett image, printed in GOLD on a black, punky-style/unfinished cotton square, a fold-out A3 size poster of the legendary “PEACE” pin-up from Dillon & Martin’s PLANET SWERVE strip (Feb 1991) (hand-signed in pencil by Alan), an A5 pink print of the TG poem “Epitaph”, and a Ginsberg & Kerouac bookmark with Hewll artwork from the Blue Helmet story.
