Last night, across the side of the Houses of Parliament – Tank Girl/Gorillaz co-creator and artist JAMIE HEWLETT’S artwork was displayed as part of Extinction Rebellion’s action in London.
Jamie – “When I was at school, I was told that I was a disobedient pupil and that I would never achieve anything, now it would appear that disobedience is the only way to achieve anything.”
I have just heard through the grapevine that Margot Robbie’s production company have optioned the rights from MGM to make a new Tank Girl movie, and said movie is now several months into development. We haven’t been contacted by any of the parties involved with the project, including MGM, so I’m not sure if there will be any input from the original creators. Alan xxx
